Job summary

Central Georgia Technical College seeks an experienced Nursing - LPN Instructor to teach in classroom and clinical lab settings, and to prepare syllabi and lesson plans that develop students' practical nursing skills. The instructor must evaluate progress and maintain records according to program standards.

The position requires an ADN, an active Georgia RN license, at least three years of RN practice in the last seven years, and a current BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Earned Associate degree in Nursing from an accredited RN program.
• Documented active Georgia license in good standing as a registered professional nurse.
• Documented minimum of three (3) years of practice as a licensed registered nurse within the preceding seven (7) years.
• BLS Certification

Responsibilities

• Teach in classroom and clinical lab settings.
• Prepare syllabi and lesson plans; develop program goals and objectives.
• Evaluate students’ progress and maintain grade books and records.
• Maintain program requirements and participate in professional development.
• Assist Program Director with budgeting for equipment and supplies; coordinate with college personnel.
• Travel to college sites and clinical locations as needed.
