Job summary

Benedictine Living is seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist in a hybrid role in Minnesota. You will manage billing, monitor payer sources, and ensure timely filings for primary and secondary payers across designated facilities.

Responsibilities include AR aging oversight, coordinating with the AR/Billing Supervisor and Nursing Home Administrator, and collecting private pay balances. A strong understanding of Medicaid and insurance reimbursement is essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Experience in private pay collections and Fair Credit/Collections rules.
• Knowledge of Medicaid and insurance reimbursement systems in listed states.
• Proficient with Word, Excel, and AR billing software.
• Preferred: AR long term care billing experience.
• Preferred: knowledge of facility business office regulations.

Responsibilities

• Manage accounts receivable billing and collection for all designated payers and locations.
• Monitor Medicaid and other payer sources to ensure timely filings for primary/secondary payers.
• Monitor AR aging and coordinate with AR/Billing Supervisor and Nursing Home Administrator; collect private pay balances.
• Comply with laws and Benedictine Compliance Program obligations.
