Job summary

SMPLY Brands is seeking a Commercial Operations Coordinator to support order fulfillment, logistics coordination, and supply chain execution across a national network. The role centers on accuracy and timeliness of orders, working daily with warehouses, carriers, and cross-functional teams.

Ideal candidates have 2–5 years in logistics or related roles, excellent communication, and a detail-oriented mindset.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years in logistics coordination, order management, or related roles.
• Strong attention to detail and follow-through.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with partners.
• Proficiency with Excel; experience with ERP, CRM, order management (OMS), or EDI systems is a plus.
• Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in business, operations, logistics, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Process and validate customer purchase orders across multiple intake channels with accuracy and timeliness
• Prepare and distribute shipping documentation — including bills of lading (BOLs) and packing lists — for outbound freight
• Coordinate scheduling between warehouse locations and freight carriers, and confirm execution on both sides
• Monitor and track shipments in transit; resolve or escape exceptions promptly
• Maintain complete, accurate order records through delivery confirmation and closure
• Support billing accuracy through timely and correct order completion
• Produce recurring operational and logistics reports, and support continuous improvement of reporting processes
• Assist with inbound receiving coordination and related documentation
• Communicate professionally with warehouses, carriers, and internal teams throughout the order lifecycle
• Contribute to process documentation and continuous improvement as the function grows
• Support special projects and new program launches as the business expands
