Job Description
SMPLY Brands is a leading U.S. manufacturer and distributor of high-performance wipes, paper towels, napkins, and tissue products for homes and facilities nationwide. With a strong domestic supply chain and sustainably sourced raw materials, we deliver reliable products across diverse environments — from industrial facilities and foodservice operations to everyday household use — with flexible private label options and custom specifications supporting some of the most recognized supply chains in the country. Headquartered in Franklin, Tennessee, we are growing quickly through new national programs and long-term customer partnerships, and we run an entrepreneurial company committed to operational excellence: we invest in modern systems, promote from within, and give capable people real responsibility early. If you want your work to be visible and your growth to be earned rather than waited on, you will fit in well here.
SMPLY Brands is hiring a Commercial Operations Coordinator to support order fulfillment, logistics coordination, and supply chain execution across a national distribution network. The role sits at the center of how orders move — from intake and documentation through carrier scheduling, delivery confirmation, and record completion — and is directly responsible for the accuracy and timeliness that our operations, our reporting, and our customers depend on. It is a high-volume, detail-driven position built for someone early in their career who is ready to take real ownership and grow with the company.
Success in this role looks like orders that never wait, records that are always right, and partners who trust what you send them. You will work daily with warehouse teams, freight carriers, and colleagues across operations, sales, and finance, and the quality of your execution will be visible to all of them. For the right person, this is a foundation seat — the place where you learn how a national supply chain actually runs, one order at a time.
Most days begin with reviewing new orders and entering them accurately into our systems, then move through preparing shipping documentation, scheduling and confirming carrier pickups, tracking freight in transit, and closing out completed orders. Along the way, you will answer questions from warehouse and carrier partners, flag anything that looks off before it becomes a problem, and keep records current so reporting and billing stay accurate. The work is steady, structured, and detail-driven — the kind of role where organized people build an excellent reputation quickly.
You will start with structured onboarding and direct training from experienced operations leadership, then take on increasing ownership as your accuracy and judgment are proven. From there, the path can develop in several directions — deeper into logistics and freight analysis, into systems and reporting, or toward customer operations — with title and compensation progression defined along the way. We are hiring for trajectory, and we promote from within. Coordinators who master this seat are first in line as the function expands, and your development will be an explicit topic in regular reviews — not something you have to chase.
This role can be based near our Franklin, Tennessee headquarters — in the greater Nashville area — or in the Tulsa, Oklahoma area, where part of our operations team is based. We are open to hybrid or remote arrangements for the right candidate. Wherever you sit, expect structured business-hours work, close day-to-day collaboration with operations leadership, and periodic travel for team sessions and training.
