You will support the Material Master Data Governance function by creating material IDs used on purchase orders so materials can be accurately tracked end-to-end. This role involves gathering technical specifications, researching manufacturer part numbers, completing required forms, and submitting them for review and entry into SAP; the work often supports large projects

Qualifications

• Strong research skills and ability to gather/validate technical specifications.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Solid computer and internet research skills.
• Experience with materials, inventory, warehouse operations, or supply chain preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create material IDs used on purchase orders to enable end-to-end tracking in SAP.
• Research and verify manufacturer part numbers and gather required technical information.
