Job summary

Tessco, LLC in Reno, NV is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to manage and optimize transportation activities for inbound, outbound, and third-party shipments across the supply chain. You will help ensure timely deliveries, cost efficiency, and data-driven decisions.

Responsibilities include carrier evaluation, KPI tracking, international shipments, and collaboration with 3PLs and internal teams. Proficiency in Excel and experience with TMS are highly valued.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in logistics or transportation.
• Experience with parcel, LTL, and FTL shipping, and international logistics knowledge.
• Knowledge of freight markets and transportation regulations.
• Proficiency in Excel and data analysis.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support carrier selection by evaluating rates, performance, and capacity.
• Monitor shipments domestically and internationally and ensure delivery SLAs.
• Assist with international shipments with freight forwarders and customs brokers.
• Track and report on KPIs such as on-time delivery and cost per mile.
• Develop transportation models and simulations to forecast needs.
• Collaborate with 3PLs, carriers, and internal teams to streamline transportation.
• Use Transportation Management Systems (TMS) to manage shipments and data.
• Resolve shipping delays, damage claims, or service issues promptly.
