Job summary

Tessco in Reno, NV is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to optimize inbound, outbound, and third‑party shipments. You will manage transportation activities, analyze performance, and develop models to forecast shipping needs while ensuring cost efficiency and on‑time delivery.

The role collaborates with 3PLs, carriers, and internal teams, using TMS to improve visibility, resolve delays, and maintain accurate data; strong Excel/data analysis skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in logistics or transportation.
• Experience with parcel, LTL, and FTL shipping; knowledge of international logistics and Incoterms.
• Knowledge of freight markets and transportation regulations.
• Proficiency in Excel and data analysis.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support carrier selection by evaluating rates, performance, and capacity.
• Monitor daily shipments domestic and international and ensure alignment with SLAs.
• Assist with international shipments with freight forwarders and customs brokers.
• Track and report KPIs such as on-time delivery and cost per mile.
• Develop transportation models to forecast shipping needs and optimize routing.
• Collaborate with 3PLs, carriers, and internal warehouse teams.
• Utilize TMS to manage shipments and improve data visibility.
• Resolve shipping delays, damage claims, or service issues promptly.
