Qualifications

• Experience with logistics in North America and dangerous goods freight.
• Regulations for US/Canada transportation knowledge.
• SAP experience for transportation and logistics.
• 2–4 years in transportation and warehouse operations.
• Experience developing delivery strategies across multiple countries and transport modes.
• Strong vendor relationship building and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate logistics and distribution with Manufacturing, Supply Chain and carriers.
• Update monthly rail and truck transport rates and fuel surcharges.
• Analyze and challenge freight rates and accessorial charges.
• Ensure regulatory compliance for services to customers.
• Support safety initiatives and continuous improvement in logistics.
• Improve efficiency and productivity of distribution operations.
• Execute monthly plans with internal teams and third parties.
• Support regional supply chain strategies and savings programs.
• Prepare for safety carrier conferences every 18 months.
