Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a detail-oriented Logistics Analyst to join our dynamic supply chain team. You will analyze logistical data, identify areas for improvement, and support developing strategies to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.

This role blends remote flexibility with in-person collaboration to optimize the company’s logistics network in the Rustenburg area. You will work with cross-functional teams to implement changes, monitor impact, and present findings to stakeholders,

Qualifications

1–3 years of experience in logistics, data analysis or a related field.
Proficiency in Excel and data analysis tools (SQL, Tableau).
Understanding of logistics principles, transportation modes, and supply chain operations.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.

Responsibilities

Collect, analyze, and interpret logistics data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and cost-saving opportunities.
Develop reports and dashboards to track KPIs for logistics operations.
Support the planning and execution of transportation and warehousing strategies.
Collaborate with internal departments and external partners to resolve logistical challenges.
Assist in the evaluation and implementation of new logistics technologies and processes.
Monitor shipment status and provide proactive updates to stakeholders.
