Job summary

GDM Seeds in Ottawa, Kansas is seeking a data-driven Logistics Analyst to optimize the distribution network, manage warehouse capacity, and analyze freight costs. You will collaborate with Finance, IT, and Operations to drive informed decisions and continuous improvement.

This onsite role requires commuting to the Ottawa site and supports cross-functional projects. The ideal candidate has strong data analytics skills, experience in logistics, and familiarity with SAP/ERP systems.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required or equivalent work experience
Experience in logistics or supply chain analysis preferred
Knowledge of seed industry is a plus

Responsibilities

Interpret logistics data to manage product transfers and meet customer needs
Manage warehouse and network capacity to ensure continuous throughput
Develop freight cost models and act as logistics liaison with Finance
Collaborate with IT to resolve logistics software issues and support BI dashboards
Monitor KPIs and implement corrective actions to improve performance
Support contract management and cross-functional logistics projects
