Job summary

AIDEA is seeking a Loan Servicing/Accounting Technician – Range 14 to support a broad range of loan servicing duties, including processing payments, updating records in the loan servicing system, and preparing loan files and billing statements. Two years of accounting or loan servicing experience and a high school diploma are required; college math courses may substitute for experience.

Strong written and verbal communication and attention to detail are essential, with hybrid work options

• Accounting or math-related college courses may substitute for work experience on a year-by-year basis.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Mathematical aptitude and attention to detail are required.

Responsibilities

• Process payments and keep data updated in the loan servicing system.
• Prepare loan files and billing statements for the loan program.
• Work with borrowers to repair any errors in payments and fees.
• Collaborate with team to ensure accuracy of records.
