Job summary

AIDEA is seeking a Loan Servicing/Accounting Technician in Alaska to support the loan program. The role focuses on processing payments, maintaining loan data, and preparing billing statements for borrowers.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma and at least two years of accounting or loan servicing experience, with strong math skills, attention to detail, and excellent written and verbal communication.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or the equivalent AND two (2) years’ accounting or loan servicing experience.
• Accounting or math related college courses may be substituted for work experience on a year-by-year basis.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Mathematical aptitude and attention to detail are musts.

Responsibilities

• Process payments and keep data updated and accurate in the loan servicing system.
• Prepare loan files and create all billing statements for the loan program.
• Work with borrowers/clients to repair any errors in payments and fees.
