Job summary

The Planet Group is seeking an experienced Analyst – Loan Operations to support day-to-day operations of a private credit portfolio. The role focuses on loan servicing, trade settlement, cash management, reconciliations, and resolving operational issues.

Responsibilities include processing daily servicing activities, supporting settlement of syndicated and private loans, and handling cash/wires while investigating cash breaks to ensure accurate and timely processing.

Qualifications

• 4–8 years of experience in loan operations, loan servicing, or middle-office operations.
• Experience with syndicated and private loan lifecycles.
• Knowledge of agent notices and rate-setting mechanics.
• Experience with private credit structures, including revolvers and delayed-draw facilities.

Responsibilities

• Process daily loan servicing activities, including agent notices, rate resets, rollovers, drawdowns, paydowns, PIK, and interest/fee accruals.
• Support settlement of syndicated and private loan trades, including document review and follow-up.
• Process cash and wires and investigate cash breaks.
