Job summary

The Judge Group seeks an experienced Loan Operations Analyst to support day-to-day loan servicing and middle office duties within a private credit setting. This hybrid role is based in Boston, MA or New York, NY with 2–3 days onsite, and involves working with onshore and offshore teams to run stable operations.

The ideal candidate has 4–8 years in loan operations, servicing, or middle office, with strong Excel skills and experience in syndicated and private loan lifecycles.

Qualifications

• 4–8 years in Loan Operations, Loan Servicing or Middle Office in financial services.
• Experience with syndicated and private loan lifecycle.
• Ability to interpret agent notices and perform rate-setting activities.
• Proven reconciliation experience and adherence to controls/audit processes.

Responsibilities

• Process daily loan servicing activities for private credit portfolios.
• Support settlement activities and documentation review for syndicated and private loans.
• Process cash transactions, validate wire instructions, and investigate cash breaks.
• Reconcile positions and cash balances across systems and custodians.
• Handle lifecycle events (amendments, corporate actions) with accurate system updates.
• Collaborate with offshore teams on reconciliation and cash operations workflows.
• Perform routine reporting and data quality reviews for loan records.
