Job summary

Latham & Watkins, a leading global law firm, seeks a Litigation Services Senior Coordinator in Austin or Houston to manage docketing in CompuLaw, publish the weekly department calendar, and support attorneys and staff across matters.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree and at least five years in a law firm Litigation Services, with strong analytical and organizational skills and attention to detail. Hybrid/in-office work options are available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• Minimum of five years’ experience in a law firm/docket/calendar/litigation services.
• Role located in Austin or Houston with hybrid/in-office option.
• Experience with docketing and calendar management for litigation matters.

Responsibilities

• Conducting fundamental legal research regarding court rules, procedures, and judicial preferences using various databases.
• Drafting and reviewing legal documents for conformity with court rules and procedures (e.g., Notices of Appearance, Motions, Substitutions of Counsel).
• Preparing procedural road maps to guide upcoming filings.
• Leveraging technology to monitor and distribute cases in state and federal court.
• Developing a repository of judicial experience with templates, docket sheets, and transcripts.
• Protecting confidential and proprietary information maintained by the firm.
