Wood, Smith, Henning & Berman LLP is seeking a paralegal with 5–10 years of litigation experience in general liability to support our Tampa-based team. The role is hybrid, requiring occasional in-office presence in the greater Tampa area and collaboration across offices.

You will assist attorneys with case management, pre-trial preparation, medical records review, depositions, discovery, and related administrative tasks while maintaining exemplary organization and proactive communication.

Qualifications

• Paralegal certificate required and 5–10 years of litigation experience in general liability.
• Trial experience and strong case management skills are essential.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and highly organized.
• Ability to manage subpoenas, medical records and discovery in a team setting.

Responsibilities

• Support general liability attorneys with case management and trial prep.
• Summarize medical records, employment and other records as needed.
• Assist with depositions, discovery, and related pre-trial tasks.
• Coordinate with experts and organize materials for expert review.
• Maintain document management and ensure timely follow-up with team.
