Job summary

Adams & Martin Group seeks an experienced Litigation Paralegal to join our Oakland office. The role emphasizes litigation support and e-discovery, with onsite work for the first 90 days and a transition to a hybrid schedule (3 days in office) thereafter.

Salary ranges from $90,000 to $125,000 annually and depends on experience, education, certifications, and technical skills. The candidate will manage calendars, organize case files, and support discovery and trial preparation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and/or Paralegal Certificate required.
• 3+ years of litigation paralegal experience.
• Strong knowledge of civil litigation procedures and court filings.
• Experience with e-discovery platforms such as Everlaw, Relativity, LiveNote, Summation, or Trial Director preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365, Excel, NetDocuments, iManage, Foxit Pro, or similar legal technology platforms.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Manage litigation calendars and track all case deadlines
• Organize, review, and maintain case files and documents
• Perform document review, Bates labeling, and production preparation
• Compile information for discovery responses, pleadings, motions, depositions, and trial preparation
• Gather documents and assist with subpoenas, agency matters, and litigation requests
• Prepare case summaries, witness lists, legal hold memoranda, and other legal documents
• Assist with witness preparation and formal discovery responses
• Electronically file documents in state and federal courts
• Support e-discovery projects and litigation databases
• Conduct legal and factual research
• Communicate professionally with clients, courts, agencies, and legal vendors
