Job summary

LHH Recruitment Solutions, in partnership with a Seattle-based law firm, seeks a Litigation Paralegal to support multiple attorneys on diverse matters from investigation through trial preparation.

Ideal candidates have four or more years of litigation paralegal experience, including Washington state practice, with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage competing deadlines.

Qualifications

• Four+ years of litigation paralegal experience, including WA state cases.
• Familiarity with Washington state court rules, filing procedures, and deadlines.
• Experience drafting legal documents and supporting discovery and trial prep.
• Strong research, writing, and proofreading skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple attorneys.
• Detail-oriented with collaborative and independent work ability.

Responsibilities

• Manage and organize case files, discovery materials, and supporting documents throughout the litigation process.
• Draft and assist with preparing pleadings, motions, stipulations, complaints, demand letters, and discovery requests and responses.
• Support discovery by reviewing and summarizing documents, medical records, employment records, and other case materials.
• Coordinate with electronically stored information (ESI) vendors on document collection, review, and production.
• Use electronic document review and production platforms to organize, review, and produce discovery materials.
• Conduct legal research, investigate case facts, analyze relevant documents, and perform fact checking.
• Identify, locate, and interview witnesses and experts.
• Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, witnesses, court reporters, court personnel, and outside service providers.
• Assist attorneys with preparing arguments and materials for motions, hearings, pretrial proceedings, and trial.
• Provide ongoing case support for class action litigation and other litigation matters.
