Qualifications

• J.D. degree from an ABA-accredited law school and active Illinois bar in good standing.
• Active Illinois bar license or eligibility for admission promptly.
• Minimum of 10 years of increasing responsibility in the practice of law.
• Five+ years of progressive leadership experience leading high-performing legal teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead a multidisciplinary team of attorneys, investigators, paralegals, and staff.
• Foster a positive, inclusive, high-performing work environment aligned with ARDC values.
• Coach and develop team members; provide performance feedback and evaluations.
• Oversee assignment, management, and resolution of matters within the litigation group.
• Monitor workloads and metrics; ensure timely, high-quality outcomes.
• Represent ARDC in proceedings before boards, courts, and agencies.
• Develop and implement organizational policies, programs, and strategic initiatives.
