Job summary

Orion Placement in Los Angeles is seeking an experienced litigation associate to draft pleadings, conduct research, and represent clients in negotiations, mediations, arbitrations, and court proceedings. You will manage an active caseload in a fast-paced environment and work from Westwood with an initial on-site training before moving to a flexible hybrid schedule.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor from an accredited law school.
• Active California Bar license in good standing.
• 1+ years of litigation experience (plaintiff or defense).
• Strong legal writing, research, and analytical skills.
• Confident verbal communication and client-facing ability.
• Lemon law or personal injury exposure is a plus.
• Bilingual skills, especially Spanish, are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and demand letters.
• Conduct legal research and case strategy development.
• Represent clients in negotiations, mediations, arbitrations, and court proceedings.
• Communicate directly with clients, opposing counsel, and internal legal teams.
• Manage an active caseload in a fast-paced litigation environment.
• For senior associates, mentor junior attorneys and gradually lead case teams.

Location
