Expect 2–3 days in office with remote options for capable candidates, handling a diverse mix of complex matters including insurance defense and premises liability.

The ideal candidate has 2–8+ years of experience, California Bar license, strong communication, and leadership potential with a clear path toward partnership and mentorship.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage a balanced caseload of 8–30 matters across various litigation areas
• Handle all phases of litigation including pleadings, discovery, depositions, motions, mediation, and trial support
• Make court appearances and site inspections as needed
• Supervise junior associates and collaborate with support staff
• Provide timely client communication and reporting
• Collaborate with Partners on litigation strategy and case management
• Take ownership of cases from inception through resolution

Position Title: Hybrid Litigation Attorney

About the Role: A respected litigation firm is seeking 1–2 experienced Litigation Attorneys to join its growing Los Angeles office. Hybrid work is preferred with 2–3 days in the office, though fully remote candidates will be considered if they can independently manage cases and hit the ground running from day one. This is an opportunity to take ownership of a diverse mix of complex matters, including insurance defense, habitability, premises liability, product liability, and personal injury defense, while working alongside experienced attorneys in a collaborative and supportive environment.

The firm has grown from 10 attorneys before COVID to 48 attorneys today and continues to expand, creating significant opportunities for advancement. Attorneys receive dedicated mentorship, support from a dedicated legal assistant, and ongoing litigation training designed to accelerate professional growth. The ideal candidate is confident, organized, client-focused, and eager to take on meaningful responsibility, with a clear path toward increased leadership opportunities and potential partnership.

Salary Range: $135,000 - $200,000 / Year DOE + Quarterly and Annual Bonus Opportunities

Hybrid Litigation Attorney Responsibilities

• Independently manage a balanced caseload of approximately 8–30 matters involving habitability, landlord-tenant, personal injury, premises liability, product liability, and insurance defense matters


• Handle all phases of litigation, including pleadings, discovery, depositions, motion practice, mediation, pre-trial preparation, and trial support


• Make court appearances and attend site inspections as needed


• Supervise junior associates and collaborate with dedicated legal assistants and support staff


• Provide timely and effective client communication and reporting


• Work directly with Partners on litigation strategy and case management


• Take ownership of cases from inception through resolution

Hybrid Litigation Attorney Requirements

• 2–8+ years of litigation experience, preferably in insurance defense


• Experience with landlord-tenant, habitability, personal injury defense, premises liability, product liability, or general civil litigation


• Trial experience preferred


• Defense-side litigation experience preferred


• California Bar license is required


• Able to work independently and hit the ground running


• Excellent written and verbal communication skills


• Strong organizational skills and a collaborative mindset


• Detail-oriented with a willingness to take ownership and responsibility
