Location: Century City, Los Angeles, CA — fully on-site Monday through Friday, with 40 hours per week in the office. Employees working toward the preferred 50-hour billable target may complete the additional 10 hours remotely, with some flexibility around start and end times.
Note: This is a must-have qualification role: candidates must be licensed and in good standing with the California Bar and must have at least 6+ months of experience working as a licensed attorney.

Job Description
- Draft and respond to written discovery, review responses and document productions, and participate in e-discovery.
- Draft motions involving discovery disputes and responses to pleading challenges.
- Prepare for and participate in oral arguments, case management conferences, discovery hearings, and ex parte matters.
- Attend and defend consumer client depositions and take percipient witness depositions.
- Attend vehicle inspections alongside expert witnesses.
- Manage timely reporting and billing for hours worked.
- Develop litigation skills through increasing involvement in dispositive motions, higher-stakes depositions, and trial preparation.
- Work closely with Partners and Senior Attorneys on litigation strategy and case development.
- Manage competing priorities, deadlines, and multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
- Travel within California as needed for court appearances, inspections, and depositions.
Qualifications
- J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school.
- Active California Bar license and membership in good standing.
- 6+ months of experience working as a licensed attorney.
- Litigation experience strongly preferred; Lemon Law experience is not required.
- Genuine interest in consumer protection and advocacy.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Excellent organization, judgment, problem-solving, and deadline-management abilities.
- Collaborative, hardworking, adaptable, and eager to grow as a litigator.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Westlaw, and Outlook.
- Ability and willingness to learn new technology and work in a paperless environment.
- Spanish bilingual skills are preferred but not required.
- Willingness to travel within California as needed.
- Ability to lift or move up to 20 pounds, with reasonable accommodations available as appropriate.
