Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Litigation Attorney for a hybrid remote role based in Pittsburgh, PA. You will handle a diverse civil litigation docket from inception through resolution in state and federal courts, representing businesses, insureds, and individuals.

Requirements include PA Bar Admission and recent defense litigation experience. You will draft pleadings and discovery, take depositions, argue motions, and participate in mediations and settlements.

Qualifications

• PA Bar Admission is required.
• Recent defense litigation experience is required.
• Experience handling matters from pleadings to trial is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage own caseload of litigation matters from pleadings through trial.
• Draft pleadings, discovery, dispositive motions, and appellate briefs.
• Take and defend depositions, and argue motions in court.
• Prepare case evaluations and reports for clients and carriers.
• Attend mediations, arbitrations, and settlement conferences.
