Job summary

Mintz is seeking an associate with 1+ years of experience to join our high-profile litigation team in San Diego or San Francisco. The ideal candidate will handle complex litigation matters, perform legal research, brief-writing, and manage discovery while supporting the growth of the practice and client development activities.

Collaboration is essential; the firm requires working from the office approximately 60% of the time in accordance with guidelines.

Qualifications

• Graduated with a JD or LLM from an ABA-accredited law school.
• Must be admitted in California.
• Must have 1+ years of experience handling complex litigation matters.
• Experience with white-collar defense, government or internal investigations, and/or real estate-related litigation is a plus.
• Judicial clerkship experience is a plus.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Professionalism in working and engaging with clients and colleagues.
• Ability to prioritize, meet deadlines and balance competing responsibilities.
• Ability to stay organized and exercise extreme attention to detail.
• Ability to collaborate and work effectively in team settings.
