Job summary

gpac is seeking associate attorneys for its growing New York office in the Asbestos & Toxic Tort and General Liability & Labor/Employment practices. The role offers a hybrid work arrangement in Manhattan and opportunities to work closely with partners on defense strategies.

Ideal candidates hold a JD from an accredited law school, possess 3+ years of litigation experience in relevant practice areas, and are admitted to the New York bar (New Jersey a plus).

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school.
• 3+ years of litigation experience in Labor Law, General Liability and/or Toxic Tort.
• Admission to the New York bar (New Jersey a plus).

Responsibilities

• Handle defense litigation in toxic tort, general liability, and labor law.
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and briefs.
• Take and defend depositions and appear in court.
• Work directly with partners and clients on case strategy.
