Job summary

Aurora Mental Health & Recovery is establishing Platte Crossing Counseling Center in Commerce City, CO. The Licensed Therapist or Psychologist will deliver intake, assessments, and therapy across age groups, with 2 days remote work and hybrid in-office presence.

The role requires licensure eligibility or current Colorado licensure, strong collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, bilingual Spanish language skills encouraged, and a commitment to community behavioral health impact.

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or related behavioral health field.
• Must obtain a Colorado licensure (LCSW/LMFT/LPC or Psychologist) or be eligible for Candidate Permit within 30 days.
• Minimum of one year of clinical experience for unlicensed; two years for licensed clinicians.
• Knowledge of DSM-5 criteria, assessment, treatment planning, and recovery‑oriented care.
• Ability to provide intake, assessments, individual/family/group therapy, and telehealth services.

Responsibilities

• Provide intake and assessment services and a range of therapy modalities.
• Deliver individual, family, couples, and group therapy.
• Coordinate care with internal teams, external providers, and community partners.
• Maintain confidential documentation and meet supervision requirements.
