Job summary

Olsson's North Central Facilities Engineering and Design team is seeking a Licensed Structural Engineer in Omaha, Nebraska. You will contribute to a broad range of commercial projects, performing engineering analysis, design, and project management duties, and coordinating with other disciplines.

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Architectural Engineering required.
• PE license required; 4+ years of relevant experience preferred.
• Experience with structural design and drafting software; Proficiency in Autodesk Revit.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural design calculations for diverse project types and materials.
• Prepare design drawings suitable for construction.
• Prepare project specifications to support construction drawings.
• Coordinate structural design with architectural and other disciplines.
• Attend project meetings with clients.
• Perform occasional site observations of projects.
• Assist with project scopes and schedules; may supervise junior staff.
