Job summary
Olsson's North Central Facilities Engineering and Design team is seeking a Licensed Structural Engineer to join our building design practice. You will perform structural design calculations, prepare construction drawings, and coordinate with architectural and other disciplines on diverse projects.
The role offers a hybrid work arrangement, travel for client meetings or site visits, and opportunities to mentor junior staff while delivering high-quality engineering solutions for commercial
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Architectural Engineering.
- Minimum of 4 years of relevant engineering experience.
- Proficiency in Autodesk Revit and structural drafting software.
Responsibilities
- Perform structural design calculations on a diverse range of project types and materials.
- Prepare design drawings to be used for construction.
- Prepare project specifications to support construction drawings.
- Coordinate structural design with architectural and/or other disciplines.
- Attend project meetings with clients.
- May supervise and provide technical guidance to less experienced staff.
