Job summary

Olsson is seeking a licensed structural engineer to join our North Central Facilities Engineering and Design team in Omaha. You will perform structural design calculations, develop construction drawings and specifications, and coordinate with architectural and other disciplines on diverse projects in the region.

The role requires a PE, 4+ years of experience, and proficiency with structural design tools such as Autodesk Revit. Travel to client meetings and site visits may be possible.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Architectural Engineering.
• Must be a registered professional engineer.
• Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with structural design and drafting software.
• Proficient in Autodesk Revit.
• Master’s degree preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural design calculations on a diverse range of project types and materials.
• Prepare design drawings and project specifications for construction.
• Coordinate structural design with architectural and other disciplines.
• Meet project schedules and attend client meetings.
• May supervise less experienced staff and provide technical guidance.
