Olsson's Facilities Engineering and Design Team seeks a Senior Electrical Engineer in Omaha, Nebraska. Lead design and reviews for complex projects, applying advanced concepts while guiding junior staff and ensuring QA/QC.

A PE license and extensive engineering experience are required to drive high-quality outcomes for large commercial developments and facilities. The role emphasizes collaboration, ownership, and delivering solutions that positively impact communities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering is required.
• Minimum of eight years of engineering experience.
• Must be a registered professional engineer (PE).

Responsibilities

• Provide high-level project design and review of project documents and design quality for complex projects.
• Serve as a technical specialist, applying advanced engineering concepts and developing approaches to solve complexities.
• Perform QA/QC and ensure delivery of completed designs meets quality standards and project objectives.
• Conduct research in areas of considerable scope and complexity.
• Advise and direct staff on design approaches to fulfill project requirements.
• Work collaboratively to promote efficiencies and produce high quality work.
• Contribute to the development of standards and/or guidelines for engineering activities within the team.
• Supervise and review technical assignments of less experienced staff.
