Job summary
HDR is looking for a Structural Engineer to join our Building Engineering Services team in Omaha, NE. In this role, you will review structural documents, write specifications, coordinate the design team, and ensure compliance with codes.
The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor's degree in Civil/Structural Engineering and possess at least 3 years of experience in structural engineering, along with proficiency in various engineering software. This is a full-time position.
Other locations include Des Moines, IA, and Lincoln, NE.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of structural engineering experience.
- Professional engineering license recognized by the licensing board.
- Previous structural engineer experience required.
Responsibilities
- Review structural documents for conflicts with all disciplines.
- Write and edit structural specifications and complete necessary calculations.
- Coordinate the work of the structural design team in the design development phases.
- Establish meetings and participate in reviews for code compliance.
