Taft Stettinius & Hollister LLP is seeking a Legal Billing Specialist to support the Accounting department across Chicago, Cleveland, and Denver. You will ensure accurate prebills, interpret complex billing instructions, and deliver invoices with strict adherence to client guidelines and firm policies.

In this role, you will collaborate with attorneys and staff to maintain billing accuracy, resolve discrepancies, and protect confidentiality. Prior ebilling and vendor experience are highly valued.

Qualifications

• General accounting or billing experience required.
• Must be detail oriented and organized.
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
• Experience with ebilling and vendor requirements is highly desirable.

Responsabilités

• Generates and processes prebills per procedures and timelines.
• Interprets billing instructions and seeks clarification as needed.
• Ensures compliance with client guidelines and firm policies.
• Delivers invoices accurately, including ebill submissions.
• Maintains billing instructions in the accounting system.
• Troubleshoots billing discrepancies with available resources.
• Collaborates with attorneys and staff to support revenue operations.
• Responds to inquiries about billing history and time entries.
• Maintains confidentiality of firm and client data.
• Participates in training to enhance billing expertise.
