Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, or a related discipline; equivalent education/experience may be considered.
• 7+ years of progressive experience in consumer/small business lending, credit risk strategy, policy, underwriting, or related discipline.
• Experience translating strategic intent into executable policies, requirements, and measurable outcomes.
• Strong understanding of credit decisioning, portfolio performance, strategy implementation, and governance.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and execution of credit strategies across Consumer and Small Business portfolios balancing growth, risk, customer experience, and return objectives.
• Translate risk appetite and business priorities into clear policies, requirements, and execution roadmaps.
• Provide leadership across acquisition credit strategy, policy, and execution.
• Coordinate across capabilities implementing credit strategies.
• Ensure connectivity from strategy design through testing, implementation, and monitoring.
• Establish governance, decision rights, controls, and performance measures for credit strategy execution.
• Evaluate portfolio performance and evolving risks to adjust strategies and policies.
• Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to align strategy with product plans, finance, technology, and regulatory expectations.
• Strengthen execution through improved processes, tools, analytics, and change management.
• Provide updates and recommendations to senior leadership on performance, risks, and decisions.
