Job summary

Cambia Health Solutions in Renton (and other locations) seeks a Manager Clinical Pharmacy Quality and Affordability Programs to lead clinical drug safety, quality and affordability initiatives across lines of business. This position guides program development, mentorship, and cross-team collaboration to improve patient care and reduce costs.

The role requires a strong clinical pharmacy background, leadership experience, and knowledge of CMS regulations.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or Pharm.D; Residency certificate or advanced degree preferred.
Minimum 3 years of patient care setting with management or professional business experience in a managed health care system.
Licensed pharmacist in state of practice.
Strong clinical pharmacy background with therapy skills and knowledge.
Excellent verbal and written communication; strong analytical and project management abilities.
Knowledge of Medicare/CMS regulations and pharmaceutical products.
Experience with AI tools to enhance productivity in professional settings.

Responsibilities

Prioritizes and manages the implementation and maintenance of clinical pharmacy programs (Stars, HEDIS, eValu8).
Leads departmental and cross-organizational teams and committees with internal and external vendors.
Ensures service levels and activities meet client SLAs and contractual obligations.
Provides routine reporting and quality assurance for clinical programs.
Delivers leadership and mentorship to direct reports and staff.
Collaborates with Pharmacy Directors and leadership on proper medication use and cost reduction.
Handles management responsibilities including hiring, budgeting, and resource planning.
Provides direction to the team to create a positive, engaged work environment.
