Job summary

IMEG Corporation in Colorado is seeking a Senior Technology Designer to lead and manage low-voltage building systems design. You will guide IT cabling, AV, security, and related technologies, ensuring compliance with codes and IMEG standards, while building strong client relationships.

The role offers hybrid, full-time work in Greenwood Village/Denver with travel up to 25% and a pathway for staff development within an employee-owned firm.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical/related Engineering or equivalent required.
• 14+ years in building design consulting;16+ preferred.
• Associates degree in BIM/Engineering preferred.
• 18+ years in building design consulting or construction;20+ preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead analysis and design of IT cabling, AV, security and other low-voltage systems.
• Develop detailed designs, specifications, and calculations per codes and IMEG standards.
• Perform site assessments and prepare technical reports.
• Gather requirements, communicate technical info, build client relationships.
• Coordinate project scheduling, milestones, and billing projections.
• Lead project interviews and presentations; mentor staff.
