Job summary

IMEG Corporation in Austin, TX is seeking a Technology Project Designer to lead design and analysis of ICT systems in buildings, focusing on security, communications, AV and other low-voltage systems for education and institutional clients. The role spans technical design and project delivery tracks with mentorship and cross-functional collaboration.

You will work in a 100% employee-owned firm, travel up to 50%, and may have hybrid arrangements.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Electrical/ Electronics/ CS or related field (or equivalent).
• 11+ years in building design consulting or construction industry; 8–12 preferred depending on track.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and analysis of IT cabling, audio/video, security and other low-voltage building systems.
• Create detailed designs, specifications, and calculations per code and IMEG standards.
• Manage project schedules, billing, and client coordination; review designs for quality control.
