Job summary

Peraton is seeking a mid-level Network/Desktop Administrator to support a hybrid environment, balancing network switch configuration and endpoint management. You will work across VLANs, imaging, AD tasks, and patch remediation while delivering responsive end-user support.

The ideal candidate has extensive Windows 10/11 experience, experience with VDI, SCCM/MECM, and strong communication skills to interact with non-technical staff. A TS/SCI with Poly is required for this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline; 15 years of system administration experience, or equivalent.
• Active TS/SCI with Poly is required.
• 5+ years in mid-level network administration with Cisco IOS-XE/NX-OS knowledge.
• 10+ years managing Windows 10/11 endpoints and VDI/thin-client platforms.
• Strong customer service orientation and clear written/verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Cisco switches (IOS-XE, NX-OS).
• Manage port security, VLANs, and subnetting.
• Support VDI/thin-client infrastructure and endpoint provisioning.
• Imaging and deployment via PXE and tooling.
• Administer Windows endpoints and lifecycle support.
• Execute patch management and vulnerability remediation (IAVA).
• Use PuTTY/PowerShell/Windows CMD for config and diagnostics.
• Perform AD user/group admin and GPO awareness.
• Document configurations and changes; ensure security baselines.
