Job summary

Thomson Reuters is seeking a Lead Software Engineer with 10+ years of experience in C#, .NET, cloud-native development, microservices, and API engineering. You will design and operate scalable enterprise software, build external and internal APIs, and modernize applications into cloud-native services.

You will collaborate across engineering, product, architecture, security, and operations to deliver secure, observable, and resilient systems, with a strong emphasis on CI/CD and secure coding

Qualifications

• 10+ years of professional software development experience in C#, .NET, API development, and distributed systems.
• Experience designing, developing, and supporting REST APIs consumed by customers and internal apps.
• Strong background in microservices, cloud-native patterns, observability, and security.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices in C#, .NET, and ASP.NET Core.
• Build scalable, secure services for customer-facing products and integrations.
• Lead microservice architectures, API contracts, and observability & resilience patterns.
• Implement cloud-native solutions with containers, orchestration, automation, and CD/CI.
• Develop modern web apps using Angular, TypeScript, HTML/CSS.
