Cognizant is seeking a Lead Quality Engineer – Portfolio to drive quality engineering delivery and transformation across a retail portfolio. You will lead, mentor, and collaborate with product teams and offshore QA groups to improve release quality and delivery outcomes.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of information technology or quality engineering experience.
• 6+ years leading a large quality engineering team or portfolio.
• At least 3 years of experience in the retail industry (e.g., supply chain, digital marketing, merchandising, stores).
• Hands-on programming experience with Java, Python or JavaScript.
• Experience with Playwright, Selenium or Cypress for UI and API test automation.
• At least 1 year of hands-on generative AI experience and strong communication with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead quality engineering delivery and transformation across the portfolio and build relationships with stakeholders.
• Complete Jira stories including manual test design, test automation and sign-off activities.
• Coordinate with offshore quality engineers to meet delivery expectations and SLAs.
• Drive resolution of defects, test-data constraints, and environment issues to remove roadblocks.
• Use AI-enabled approaches to improve daily productivity and release quality.
