Lead Quality Engineer – Portfolio

As a Lead Quality Engineer – Portfolio, you will make an impact by leading quality engineering delivery and transformation across a retail portfolio while also providing hands-on support to an assigned product team. You will be a valued member of the Software Engineering Group and work collaboratively with client stakeholders, product teams and offshore quality engineering teams to improve release quality and delivery outcomes.

• Lead quality engineering delivery and transformation across the portfolio, building strong relationships with key stakeholders.
• Complete assigned Jira stories for the product team, including manual test design, test automation and sign-off activities.
• Coordinate with offshore quality engineers to ensure delivery expectations, service-level agreements and key performance indicators are met.
• Drive resolution of defects, test-data constraints, and environment issues to remove delivery roadblocks.
• Use AI-enabled approaches to improve daily productivity, strengthen quality practices and improve release quality.

Work Model: Hybrid

Based on this role's business requirements, this is a hybrid position requiring three days a week, primarily Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, at the client office in Johns Creek, Georgia. What you need to have to be considered:

• 12+ years of information technology or quality engineering experience, including 6 or more years leading a large quality engineering team or portfolio.
• At least 3 years of experience in the retail industry, such as supply chain, digital marketing, merchandising or stores.
• Hands-on programming experience with Java, Python or JavaScript.
• Experience with Playwright, Selenium or Cypress for user-interface and API test automation.
• At least 1 year of hands‑on generative AI experience, along with strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.

Salary and Other Compensation

The annual salary for this position is $83,100 - $131,500, depending on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors.

In addition to salary, this role is eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, subject to individual and company performance.
