Job summary

Sargent & Lundy is seeking a seasoned Project Manager to lead transmission, substation and distribution projects with a hybrid work arrangement in the Denver area. You will coordinate cross-functional teams, manage the full project lifecycle, and ensure safety, schedule, and budget goals are achieved for multiple capital projects.

Essential experience includes 15+ years in utility/construction/engineering project management, strong communication, and ability to liaise with clients.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in Project Management of Utility, Construction, Engineering, or related fields.
• Proven experience leading multi-disciplinary teams and capital project management.
• Strong written and verbal communication, and client liaison abilities.
• High school diploma or GED required; travel ~10–25% domestically.

Responsibilities

• Own project execution, contract administration, planning and resource management.
• Manage all aspects of project performance including safety, schedule, budget, reporting and client experience.
• Oversee all phases of the project life cycle from initiation to close out.
• Direct the project team; mentor and coach members.
• Maintain positive client relationships with functional leads and stakeholders.
• Lead efforts to complete projects safely, on time, within budget.
• Support KPI reporting for schedule, budget and dashboards.
• Identify and control construction risk; manage changes with stakeholders.
• Prepare clear project reports meeting client requirements.
• Analyze issues and provide solutions to improve results.
