Job summary

General Motors LLC is seeking a Lead Calibration Engineer for the Low Voltage Infrastructure team to own calibration performance and ecosystem health across vehicle programs. You will coordinate script release plans, mentor engineers, and drive issue resolution with a focus on robust LVI features and cross-program consistency.

The role emphasizes leadership, collaboration, and hands-on calibration work across lab, simulation, and vehicle environments, with a hybrid work model and relocation

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering required.
• Minimum 7 years of post‑graduation engineering experience.
• At least 2 years hands‑on experience in calibration engineering.
• Experience defining, refining, and enforcing processes and cadence for calibration.
• Proficiency with JIRA, INCA, Vehicle Spy, CRETA, MDA, MATLAB/Simulink.
• Experience with data acquisition systems and advanced data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Own and lead LVI feature performance and ecosystem health across vehicle programs.
• Coordinate calibration planning to ensure high-quality, on-time release of LVI calibration scripts.
• Mentor calibration engineers to elevate team capability and execution quality.
• Develop and release high-quality LVI calibration scripts using CRETA in line with milestones.
• Support Scrum with story creation and alignment in JIRA.
• Lead issue resolution across vehicle, plant, durability/dyno, and customer domains.
