Green Dot is seeking a Lead Financial Analyst, FP&A in Los Angeles to drive planning, forecasting, budgeting, and business partnering across the enterprise. This senior individual contributor leads cross-functional workstreams, mentors analysts, and supports executive decision-making.

The role emphasizes advanced financial modeling, variance analysis, and strategic insights, with a structured hybrid work setup requiring three in-office days weekly at the West LA office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
• 7+ years FP&A or corporate finance experience or 4+ years with MBA.
• Expert Excel and PowerPoint for executive deliverables.
• Strong knowledge of EPM/planning platforms and ERP systems.
• Experience building three-statement financial models and driver-based analyses.
• Familiarity with BI tools and large data sets; SQL a plus.
• Excellent communication for executive-level storytelling.

Responsabilités

• Lead development of annual operating plans, forecasts, and monthly reporting.
• Build and maintain multi-driver financial models for revenue, expenses, capex, and cash flow.
• Partner with senior leaders to translate strategy into financial plans and actions.
• Deliver variance analyses and executive-ready commentary for CFO and Board reviews.
• Own monthly close support, accruals guidance, and management reporting.
• Drive FP&A process improvements, automation, and AI-enabled analytics.
• Support capital allocation, ROI/NPV analyses, and pricing reviews.
• Lead workforce planning and headcount reporting with HR and business owners.
• Mentor junior analysts and guide cross-functional project work.
• Ensure SOX and internal control compliance in analyses.
