Job summary

Pickett is seeking a Lead Engineer to provide leadership and senior technical expertise on complex HV and EHV transmission design projects. You will guide line routing, survey, PLS-CADD modeling, structure and foundation design, and coordination with vendors and stakeholders.

The role requires directing a team of engineers and technicians, ensuring quality, scheduling, and client satisfaction, and mentoring staff toward excellence.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering is required.
PE certification is required.
10+ years of transmission line engineering experience.
Experience with PLS-CADD and industry standards.

Responsibilities

Supervise a team of engineers, technicians, and drafters.
Communicate clear expectations, goals, and vision.
Manage performance and delegate project work.
Motivate, coach and mentor team members.
Manage projects, ensure quality and on-time delivery.
Review and approve engineering design submittals.
