Healing Strides Counseling is seeking a Lead Dental Assistant to perform chairside dental assisting while coordinating daily clinic operations in a hybrid clinical and leadership capacity. The role ensures efficient workflow, high-quality patient care, regulatory compliance, and provider productivity following FQHC standards.

Formación

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Completion of an accredited dental assisting program is preferred.
• Current Dental Assistant certification is preferred.
• Current radiology certification is required if performing radiographs.
• CPR certification is required.

Responsabilidades

• Provide chairside dental assisting during examinations and procedures.
• Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for patient care.
• Take dental radiographs in accordance with state regulations and certifications.
• Sterilize instruments and maintain infection control procedures.
• Assist with patient intake, chart preparation, and documentation in the EHR.
• Educate patients regarding oral hygiene and post-procedure care.
• Assist providers with restorative, preventive, and emergency dental procedures.
• Coordinate daily dental clinic workflow and patient scheduling.
• Support front desk operations including insurance verification and patient registration.
