Job summary

Community Dental Partners is seeking a Lead Registered Dental Assistant to support dentists during treatments and manage back-office workflow. This role mentors team members, improves patient flow, and ensures high-quality care in a fast-paced environment.

The Lead RDA will oversee room readiness, assist with complex procedures, and uphold HIPAA guidelines while fostering a positive patient experience at Henderson Smiles in Texas.

Qualifications

• Texas Issued Registered Dental Assistant License
• 4-5+ years of Dental Assisting experience
• Sealant Placement, Nitrous Monitoring, and Coronal Polishing certifications preferred (if 2+ years, courses provided)
• RCT, Cord Packing, Denture adjustments, and Crown seat experience

Responsibilities

• Greet and prepare patients for exams, complete digital charting, verify codes with precision
• Capture quality x-ray images
• Assist dentists with a variety of treatment procedures
• Support sterilization and setup of exam and treatment rooms
• Explain treatment options and post-care instructions to patients
• Mentor and train new team members and externs
• Manage patient flow and improve visit efficiency
