Job summary

Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP seeks a Lateral Talent Acquisition Assistant to support the National Lateral Talent Acquisition team across Chicago, Washington, DC and New York offices in a hybrid role.

You will enter and track interview schedules, maintain candidate data in ATS, coordinate with Search Firm recruiters, run utilization reports and assist with statistics, background checks and onboarding handoffs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree.
• Minimum of one year of related experience.
• Knowledge of LinkedIn Recruiter and vendor contracts.
• Ability to process expenses accurately.
• Ability to compile and draft statistics.
• Proficiency with Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Demonstrates close attention to detail.
• Willingness to adjust hours to meet business needs.

Responsibilities

• Enter, distribute and update lateral candidate interview schedules.
• Maintain accurate candidate data in ATS and related databases.
• Update career page with firmwide lateral searches.
• Coordinate availability with Search Firm recruiters.
• Run firmwide utilization reports.
• Maintain lateral candidate offer acceptance tracker.
• Assist with updating lateral statistics.
• Maintain Search Firm contact lists and track agreements.
• Scan documents into records management system.
• Handle due diligence items for lateral hires.
• Circulate background and social media reports for review/clearance.
• Process placement fee invoices.
• Circulate submissions for review and decisions.
• Handle downloads of new lateral hires into employee records.
• Prepare candidate hiring files for handoff to appropriate people teams.
• Demonstrates effective interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
