Job summary

Globe Life And Accident Insurance Company is seeking a Labor Relations HR Generalist in a hybrid role based in Waco, TX. You will support management on HR matters within a union environment, partnering with leadership and union leadership to ensure consistent HR practices and early issue resolution.

Responsibilities include managing probationary periods per the CBA, job bidding duties, and advising on HR initiatives.

Qualifications

• 1–3+ years of HR experience.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Experience resolving workplace disputes and guiding difficult conversations.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong conflict resolution skills.
• Ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Partner with leadership to ensure consistent HR policies and practices.
• Manage administrative responsibilities in partnership with the union and CBA job bidding duties.
• Provide input on company-wide HR initiatives and programs.
• Support management with employee relations and performance management, focusing on early resolution.
• Collaborate with HR teams and business leaders to meet organizational needs.
• Provide HR policy guidance as defined in the CBA.
• Manage and lead unemployment hearings.
• Prepare reports required by the union and management.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
