Job summary

Benesch seeks a Staff Learning & Development Manager in Chicago to lead performance management and learning strategy for the firm's staff. You will design programs, oversee coaching, and collaborate with leadership to drive development across multiple offices.

The role is hybrid with home‑flexibility, offering a salary range of $127K to $160K plus a discretionary bonus and comprehensive benefits. SHRM/HRCI certification preferred; 7+ years HR experience required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Learning & Development, Organizational Psychology, Business or related field.
• SHRM or HRCI certification preferred.
• Seven years of progressive human resources experience, including at least five years in learning and development.

Responsibilities

• Identify skill and competency gaps among support staff and establish learning initiatives.
• Lead annual performance management process for support staff, including training for managers.
• Design, deliver, and evaluate firm-wide learning programs for staff.
• Create learning modules using firm systems and tools.
• Administer SkillPath learning subscription and report usage trends to HR leadership.
• Promote SkillPath content aligned to performance and development goals.
• Manage 1:1 coaching program end-to-end and escalate low participation when needed.
• Design and facilitate HR and managerial trainings for in-person, virtual, or LMS delivery.
• Maintain and update the Benesch Learning Center and promote staff engagement.
