Job summary

Lumberman's Merchandising Corp in Wayne, PA is hiring a Kitchen & Bath Buyer in a full-time hybrid role. You will build strong dealer and supplier relationships, drive program utilization, and grow purchasing volume through supplier programs and promotions.

You will manage sourcing, pricing negotiations, supplier relations, and participate in training events and designer programs, with occasional travel to events and dealer visits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in business, marketing, merchandising, design, or related field.
• Two or more years of experience in a professional business environment with customers, dealers, purchasing, or supplier programs.
• Strong customer service, relationship-building, negotiation, problem-solving, organizational, and follow-through skills.
• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills with ability to explain programs, billing requirements, products, and order details.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with Kitchen & Bath dealers through proactive communication to understand needs and provide high-quality service.
• Assist dealers with special orders and job orders, including sourcing, quotes, pricing, and coordinating orders.
• Promote supplier programs, rebates, and trainings to drive participation and purchasing volume.
• Develop knowledge of product lines, supplier capabilities, and market trends to propose new programs.
• Travel to events and dealer visits as required and support designer training activities.
